Reno mattress, also called gabion mattress, revet mattress, is a type of container with hexagonal meshes and double or triple twisted structure. Different materials of reno mattress

Reno mattress can be made of different materials, according to different material, the reno mattress can be divided into different styles.

RM-01: Hot dipped galvanized reno mattress.

RM-02: PVC coated reno mattress.

• Galvanized steel wire before fabrication. Using the galvanized steel wire for fabricating the reno mattress, which has excellent corrosion and rust resistance performance during using. But the zinc coating on the joints of gabions may slightly falling off during fabrication.
• Galvanized surface treatment after fabrication. Using steel wire for fabricating and then electric or hot dipped galvanized treated. In this way, the zinc coating will not destroyed during fabrication and supplier better corrosion and rust performance and longer service life.
• Zinc-aluminum alloy steel wire before fabrication. The aluminum added into the coating can supply additional protection for the gabion mattress. The content of aluminum is different. The Zn-5 Al-MM steel wire means 5% aluminum and 95% zinc coating, which is also called Galfan coating. It can also be Zn-10 Al-MM, which refers to 10 % aluminum and 90% zinc coating.
• PVC coated wire before fabrication. Cover the steel wire with PVC film, which can be green, gray and various other colors and then fabricate the gabion as usual. The PVC coated material can not only supply excellent corrosion and rust resistance, it can also make the revet mattress colorful and beautiful. The PVC coated wire is just suitable for woven reno mattress only.
• PVC coating after fabrication. For beautiful surface and blending with surrounding environments, the welded gabion mattress will be PVC coating surface treated after fabrication. It is widely used for different landscape construction applications and popular with artists.

• Welded reno mattress. The main application of welded reno mattress is for decoration, such as landscape construction, fire place and planters applications. It can be used for slope protection as the woven reno mattress.
